Each one leaving a mark for me to learn from every single day.
Just to see you walk by,
Knowing the baby I held before.
It's overwhelming at times to think, one day you wont live with us anymore.
As the struggle to set a worthy example from a flawed human being like me rolls on
Recognition of the futility of the act now dawns
The best I can be is to just be me and let our dance together show us the way.
