Heard my son listening to this song today and my husband being the nerd that he is went to look it up. Our son was listening to the song on the Disney app and was completely rocking out. Dancing until sweat was running down his face. He replayed the song a bunch of times dancing all the while.

Turns out the song is from the movie Sing and the name is 'Set It All Free' sung by Scarlett Johansson. (link below)

Now, I must confess that I like most of the songs my son enjoys. Perhaps he just gets rhythm like me (wink wink). But jokes aside, when my husband looked up the lyrics to the song he commented that it should be my theme song for my life right now. I laughed and retorted that it sounds like he wants me to have diarrhea, even though I was thinking the same thought.

So now I am going to find a way to make the song my ringtone. Like I do with every song that embodies where I am reaching for in the moment. I make them my ringtone until the words sink into my subconscious and reminds me of where and what I'm reaching for. So far it has been a really great mood booster. Every time my phone rings it reminds me what I am working on. What my goals are. When the busyness wants to take me away on its wild ride and the phone rings, I remember, just to take a minute and breathe.

This has been a habit since I have had a cell phone that could play music. So almost 20 years now. I have been making the ringtones very personal. Not to be different per se, but to 1. recognize when my phone is ringing in the sea of similar cell phones and 2. to remind me of something special. A deliberate yet surprising way to add a smile to my face during the day. Deliberate because I added the tune with intention, but surprising because I can't predict when someone will call and I will hear the tune.

It's fun and also very practical.

And now... "this is my kiss good-bye" as I go to set my new ringtone to "Set it all free, all free, all free".

P.S. I have not yet watched the movie... I just love the song!
